A former MP who resigned after facing allegations of sexual misconduct and cocaine use, died at the age of 59.
David Warberton represented the Somraton and From constituency in the Summerset from 2015 to June 2023.
The Scotland Yard said the police were called at a address on 26 August at Sands End in West London, where a man was found dead at the scene in the 50s.
Bal said that the authorities were considering the death as “unexpected but suspects”.
The former MP had accepted the use of cocaine, but denied the claims of sexual misconduct against him and hit a parliamentary inquiry into the allegations, who took 14 months at the time of his resignation.
He said that he was denied a fair hearing and was abandoned with “no alternative”, but to provoke “the upheaval of a by-election”, which was won by Liberal Democrat MP Sara Sara Dike.
In the last summer election, this seat was terminated as part of border changes.
A spokesperson of the Metropolitan Police said on Monday: “Police was called by the London Ambulance Service at a address on Tuesday, August 26 at 10.47 am at Chelsea Crescent, Sands and in a address.
“In the 50s, a person was found dead on the spot. His next family was informed.
“His death is considered unexpected but not suspicious.”
