Kyle, 83, represents Arizona in the House and Senate congress nearly thirty years. Spent most of those years in the Senate, including serving as Minority Whip.

“My family and I are now on a path filled with joyous moments and increasing hardships,” Kyle said in a statement. “There are no words to express how grateful I am for their love and support in the days to come, and every day of my life. Despite this diagnosis, I remain a very lucky man.”
