Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Thursday interacted with Japanese Vice President, Techhiro Phankoshi for Foreign Secretary-Vice Minister Dialogue in Tokyo.
Misri expressed India’s zero tolerance for terrorism during the talks.
In a post on X, the Indian Embassy in Tokyo said, “He joined the Foreign Secretary-Vice Minister dialogue in Tokyo with the Japan government for the Government of Shri Vikram Egypt, Honorable Foreign Secretary, Vice President of Foreign Affairs, Government of Japan.
Discussions to carry forward India’s special strategic and global partnership of Japan and express India’s message on zero tolerance to terror. ,
Meanwhile, on the first day, an all-party parliamentary delegation in India met with Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Evea, reiterating India’s unwavering national consent and firm commitment to combat terrorism in all its forms.
The Japanese Foreign Minister expressed strong support for India’s fight against terrorism and appreciated the restraint shown by India, urged strict punishment for criminals of terrorist acts.
JD (U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, who led the delegation to Japan, said, “We strongly presented the stand of India. He appreciated it and said that action should be taken against terrorism. He also appreciated that India had shown India’s stand against terrorism. They should be punished (terrorists).”
After coming to Tokyo today, members of the All-party parliamentary delegation paid floral tributes in the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Adogwa, Tokyo.
JD (U) leader Sanjay Jha appealed to all world leaders against India against the sponsorship of Pakistan’s terrorism.
Talking to ANI, Jha said that Operation is a delegation to raise awareness about vermilion.
