Chennai, October 1 (IANS) Regional Meteorological Center (RMC), Chennai, on Wednesday forecast thunderstorms with moderate rainfall in separate places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karikal.
In its latest advice, the Meteorological Office stated that atmospheric circulation is active in parts of South India and the Northern Andaman Sea, which led to the establishment of the platform changing the weather conditions.
According to RMC, a low pressure system is likely to be formed in the middle bay of Bengal on Wednesday due to an existing cyclone circulation on the Northern Andaman Sea.
This system is likely to be moved to west-north-west and is intense in a well-marked low-pressure area in the middle of the northwest Bay of Bengal until 2 October.
Meteorologists further hope that the system makes landfalls around October 3, to continue its trajectory towards the shores of Southern Odisha and Northern Andhra Pradesh.
For Chennai, the sky is a partial forecast to be partially cloudy through the day. Some areas of the city are likely to experience light to moderate rain with thunderous and electricity. The maximum temperature is expected to hop between 34 ° C and 35 ° C, while the minimum temperature will probably be from 26 degrees to 27 degrees to about 26 degrees.

The authorities urged the public to be vigilant and avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rainfall period. Fishermen have been asked to strictly follow the advisor to ensure safety in the sea.
