The video caused a stir once it went viral on social media. People began calling for action against the accused school manager. Currently, the district school inspector has ordered an investigation into the matter.
In fact, the whole incident was that the manager of Shyam Raji High School in Etawah tehsil area, Shailendra Kumar, made a video of the children who had not paid their school fees and took them out of the school and made them sit in front in the sun. door, and then went viral. In the viral video, manager Shailendra Kumar told students sitting outside the school – your parents have been informed that they will not send their children to school until school fees are paid. But you people won’t believe it. You’re disturbing me. That’s why I’m kicking kids out of school who don’t pay their fees. I say this for the last time today in a very stern tone. If you feel bad then you are responsible for it, not me. I took out a loan from the bank and you didn’t pay the fees. It won’t be like this.
Those who want to teach children should teach with enthusiasm, but must pay their fees before the 15th of each month. Now I have stipulated that if you pay late, you will have to pay a penalty of 5 rupees every day. With this provision, those who want to educate their children should do so, otherwise they should leave their children sitting at home. I say all this with sadness.
Meanwhile, in this matter, District School Inspector Somaru Pradhan said that he has been informed about the video. In one, the principal appeared to be making children sit outside because they had not paid their school fees. Based on the information currently available, this school is not accredited by us. However, we will investigate this and take appropriate action.
