Football fan hit with a punch outside the pub

A Burnley The supporter who killed a Blackpool fan has put a punch on his face with a punch.

CPS North West Senior Crown Prosecutor Katy Lord Lord Lord said: “The case is a tragic reminder that a punch can kill.

“When there was violence between rival football fans in a Blackpool Pub, Jake Balmforth punched Anthony Johnson with fatal consequences.

“In addition to prosecuting Balmforth for the Manslator, we successfully applied an application for an order order on it to prevent him from committing further football -related violence.

“Our views are with Mr. Johnson’s family and friends who tolerate their loss, we hope that today’s sentence gives him some glimpse of shutting down.”

The conviction that eight others convicted will be sentenced in the Preston Crown Court on 4 August.
