Whistler- First Nations Bank of Canada says that this Whisler has reached a deal to help in funding a new indigenous leadership development in BC
This money is going to the Lillt Business Group so that it can help create a habitat and commercial place Tasequatsukum employed for the function junction neighborhood of Mountain Town.
Funding is coming through indigenous land development program that the first nation bank is running in partnership with Canada Infrastructure Bank.
The federal agency agreed to keep up to $ 100 million to support the program last year, providing bottom-market rate loans to indigenous communities to help them feel their development goals.
The First Nations Bank did not disclose the financial terms of the Lil’wat Business Group Deal, but says it is still the largest under its indigenous land development program.
The bank stated in February that it announced the first deals through the program that initially there were $ 140 million in approved projects, with the Canada Infrastructure Bank covered a $ 30 million funding.
