First, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta launched a mobile office for doorstep governance

New Delhi, September 20 (IANS) offered doorstep governance, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday launched the country’s first government office on wheels on wheels to visit departments to solve problems and profit services to citizens.

Gupta said, “Democracy is strengthened only when the problems of the people are solved at their doorstep. This is the biggest achievement of the mobile office, which will serve as a bridge between the government and the people.”

He said that the service of ‘MLA on Wheels’ has been launched during ‘Seva Pakhwada’, which is being seen to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.

“Now, complaints, essential services and matters of public interest will be directly addressed within their local area. Through the ‘Sarkar at its door on the government’ program, citizens will benefit from rapid services, skilled procedures and transparent administration,” he said.

The main objective of this particular initiative is to bring the government closer to the people, so that they are to end the need to visit government offices to resolve their concerns again and again.

The Chief Minister said that PM Modi has always emphasized that the true meaning of leadership lies in the service of the people.

He said that this unique initiative of the mobile office is inspired by the Prime Minister’s point of view that the status of an elected representative is not one of the power, but of service and dedication.

The Chief Minister said that mobile offices will benefit especially mothers, women, elderly and disabled persons, who often face difficulties in travel. Now, this vehicle will reach their homes, interact with them, and ensure that their concerns are addressed.

He said that a laptop, stenographer and clerk have been provided in the vehicle to ensure that the concerns of the people have been recorded properly and the MLA has been passed for immediate action immediately.

Sood said that the launch of the mobile office by the Chief Minister is actually an innovative experiment in connecting citizens to the spirit of “government at your door”.

He mentioned that extensive research was done for this initiative, and it was found that there is no such mobile office system anywhere else in the country.
