The city of lakes in Ontario says that the fire party has continued the fight Important forest fire in burnt river area,

Officials say that more than a quarter of more than a quarter of about 27 hectares or a square kilometer is still burning in the community in the north-east of Toronto till Monday.

They say that the Ministry of Natural Resources has deployed seven fire crews to fight the blaze, which started on Friday.

Officials say the additional resources of City Firefighters, Trent Lex Fire Service and North Bay Crew were deployed to assist and aerial water bombers also targeted the most active fire zone on Sunday.

The city says that the crew is progressing but hot and dry conditions persist, and the possibility of wind can spoil the situation.

It says that the fire is burning in a heavy wooden area, where snow storm damage left the dangerous area, making the deployment of the hose challenging.

No withdrawal has been ordered, but the city is urging the residents and visitors to escape the fire area, and closed the County Road 49 between the County Road 121 and the Green Road in Bari.

The total fire restriction in Kavrath lakes is in effect.
