Police have confirmed that “dozens” of people are thought to have died after a fire broke out at popular tourist bar Le Constellation during New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Videos posted on social media showed the fire started around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, causing panic as people fled the scene.
Authorities said about 100 people were injured, some seriously, and foreign tourists were among the dead.
