New Delhi:

A fire broke out in Delhi’s Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital (LNJP) late Monday night. Medical director Suresh Kumar said that the cause of the fire was short circuit.

Speaking to news agency ANI, LNJP Hospital Medical Director Suresh Kumar said, “There was an electric short circuit in the emergency block. All patients are safe. No patient needed to be shifted from their ward.”

Kumar further said, “Fire engines reached the spot on time and the fire was brought under control. After the fire was brought under control, all services were resumed.”
