His departure comes as The ITV reality show is heading towards its highly anticipated grand final Scheduled to air on Sunday 7 December.
Presenting pair Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly announced their exit live after Ruby found herself in the bottom two with Lisa Riley.
During her exit interview, Ruby said that she managed to “completely forget” the outside world during her time in the jungle, and called her camp mates her “family”.
Elsewhere in the episode, the stars were feeling down after spending the night at the camp’s makeshift pub: The Jungle Arms.

Before being eliminated, Ruby rearranged the camp’s job board for the last time, giving one job to H and two jobs to Angering. “We knew it would escalate the situation and we wanted to see a little conflict between the two of them,” he said.
It was a festive episode as Tom Reed Wilson and Lisa Riley won gifts ranging from a Manchester United scarf for their campmates to a foam roller for Jack and an air freshener for Shona.

Ruby’s exit comes after former England footballer Alex Scott became the first star to be kicked out of the camp last weekend. Comedian Eddie Kadi, podcaster Vogue Williams and radio DJ Kelly Brook quickly followed him.
