visible on LORRAINE On Monday (Oct. 20), Dr. Hillary shared that 91% of adults have experienced high stress in the past year. While he said that “a little stress is motivating,” too much stress can cause anxiety and depression and have negative physical effects on your body.
To reduce stress, people should try to get a good night’s sleep, reduce caffeine intake, and participate in some form of exercise outside.
He also said that try to stop procrastinating. “Don’t put off priority tasks you know you have to do until tomorrow. Tackle them today and then they’ll fall out of the way.”
