FAZ Lul Haseb, IAS, started a new chapter in the development of the city’s urban rule and infrastructure today, the Commissioner of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) and Chief Executive Officer of Srinagar Smart City Limited (SSCL).
He Dr. Ovis Ahmed took over from IAS, which has been transferred to Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir. Dr. at SMC Ovis’s tenure was marked by significant progress in urban planning, hygiene and public service growth, which earns praise for his impressive leadership.
A brief ceremony held at SMC headquarters was warmly welcomed by senior officers and employees for Mr. Faz Lul Haseeb. He gave full support in advancing the mission of sustainable, inclusive and responsible urban development.
At his first address, Mr. Haseeb confirmed his commitment to transparent, skilled and civic regime. He said, “The change in a smart and sustainable city of Srinagar demands collective action and innovative solutions. My focus will be on strengthening service distribution, streamlining grievances and ensuring people’s concerns,” he said.
With a prestigious record of public service, Mr. Faz Lul Haseeb is known for his dynamic approach, administrative skills and problems-solutions. His leadership expects to activate the ongoing projects under the Smart City Mission and revive municipal works for increased civil satisfaction.
Officials expressed optimism that under the leadership of Mr. Haseeb, Srinagar would be witness to quick progress, deep citizens engagement and sustainable urban results.
