Yes, with our colleague Laura Barron-Lopez at the White House, we have learned from sources in Jason Redding Quinones in the Southern District of Florida — he’s the U.S. attorney whom Donald Trump picked to lead that office in Miami last August — that he is effectively overseeing a broad investigation, a conspiracy investigation. And this is important.

People will continue to hear about it in the coming months. This idea that the Biden administration, the Obama administration, individuals who were law enforcement and intelligence-community officials, were trying to effectively undermine Donald Trump’s candidacy and presidency over the last eight years.

And what’s going on is these 30 summonses that were sent by this office on Friday. But just before the number three in the office signed those subpoenas, two junior assistant US attorneys resigned.

I’m told that at least one of them was asked to do something that was outside their comfort zone and that they believed would be a violation of their ethical responsibilities.

Now, it’s worth noting that the number three in the office – the Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney – was the one who signed those subpoenas. It’s not usually you see someone in a leadership capacity like Lindsey Halligan in the Northern District of Virginia signing the impeachments of Tish James.

It is not unusual to see someone who is not a line prosecutor ultimately overseeing such an investigation. I’m told that other prosecutors in the office are on “pins and needles” because they fear they will be asked to participate in this investigation – the President has been very clear in saying that people like President Obama, James Clapper, John Brennan, even Hillary Clinton should be arrested.

This is a huge, huge investigation, and in this, in the Southern District of Florida, prosecutors are being asked to do a job that they don’t feel comfortable with, a job that they feel is not based on substance, and a job that they believe they should not be asked to pursue – not only with subpoenas, but potentially with an indictment causing concern.

Fox News Digital has learned that a federal grand jury has subpoenaed former CIA Director John Brennan, former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, among others, as part of the Justice Department’s investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation.

Sources told Fox News Digital Brennan; Strzok, former Deputy Assistant Director of Counterintelligence for the FBI; And former FBI lawyer Page was issued a federal subpoena on Friday.

Law enforcement sources told Fox News Digital that 30 subpoenas related to the investigation will be issued in the coming days.

The grand jury is out of the Southern District of Florida.

Jason Redding Quinones, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida, is overseeing the investigation.

Fox News Digital first reported in July that Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey were under investigation.

Comey has been charged with making false statements and obstruction of Congress.

He has pleaded not guilty.

His trial is expected to begin in January.

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz revealed a series of anti-Trump text messages between Strzok and Page in 2018.

Both were assigned to work on special counsel Robert Mueller’s team in 2017.

Returning to the FBI General Counsel’s office in July 2017, Page served a brief on Mueller’s team. However, Strzok was removed from the team and reassigned to the FBI’s Human Resources Division.

Before serving in the Office of the Special Counsel, Strzok was a top agent in the bureau’s counterintelligence division.
