Farooq Abdullah called for immediate restoration of J&K state

Budgam, July 18: President of National Conference Dr. Farooq Abdullah visited the residence of the AGA family in Budgam on Friday to express condolences on mourning recently.

Talking to reporters during the journey, Dr. Abdullah renewed his strong demand for the fast and unconditional restoration of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, declared it a right claim of people rather than political concession.

He expressed concern over the constant refusal of democratic and constitutional rights to the residents of the region, saying that the stateism is important to restore the dignity, identity and autonomy of Jammu and Kashmir.

Calling it both a political imperative and a moral responsibility, Dr. Abdullah urged the central government to function without delay and restore Democratic structures in Jammu and Kashmir.
