Sir Keir Starmer has been condemned for “outrageous” rhetoric aimed at reform after a party council leader in Warwickshire was allegedly attacked on the street.

Britain’s youngest council leader George Finch said he was called a “racist” and a “fascist” by a man who allegedly attacked him in Nuneaton town center on Friday evening.

The 19-year-old, who suffered no permanent injuries from the incident, told The Daily Mail The alleged attacker was “injured and sent into battle by the dangerous rhetoric of Labor and the Greens”.

The incident, which is being investigated by Warwickshire Police, comes days after Reform leader Nigel Farage accused Sir Keir accused of inciting violence against them during his speech At the Labor Party conference.

during his speech To delegates, Sir Keir said Mr Farage and Reform’s politics were “racist” and said anyone who argues that people who have lived here for generations should now be deported is “the enemy of national renewal”.

Earlier this month, newly elected Green leader Zac Polanski also criticized Mr Farage’s party said its politics were “dangerous, deceitful”.

Following the alleged attack on Mr Finch, Mr Farage told The Daily Mail: “I am deeply saddened that our youth council leader was attacked.

“The words used against him echo the Prime Minister’s outrageous attack on reform and the Green Party leader’s completely irresponsible comments during Labor conference week.”

A Labor spokesperson said: “Violence, harassment or intimidation is completely unacceptable and has no place in our politics or society. Any such incidents must be fully investigated, and the perpetrators brought to justice.”

“The Green Party is committed to delivering a message of hope while combating those who promote division and hatred. And we will work to bring communities together and provide them with the investment they need.”

Mr. Finch is topic of national attention Since his appointment following local elections earlier this year.

He said he was with a female friend when they were attacked on Friday night by a youth, who allegedly chased them before calling the police.

Mr Finch said The Daily Mail: “It is clear that the man who attacked us has been wounded and sent into battle by the dangerous rhetoric of Labor and the Greens.

“I am extremely concerned about the state of political discourse in Britain. Reform UK activists at all levels are facing intimidation and violence at the hands of left-wing instigators. The politicians they follow know this, but are willingly allowing it to happen.”

A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police said: “Officers are investigating an assault after we received a call at around 2am on Saturday, October 11, in which a man said he had been pushed by another man in Nuneaton.

“Anyone who witnessed this incident is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 26 of October 11.”
