A far-right extremist has been jailed for posting images, videos and comments online calling for the annihilation of Jews and other non-whites.

Harry Parris, 22, admitted four offenses of encouraging terrorism for being “reckless” in relation to posts and videos he posted online between 2019 and 2021.

He also admitted six offenses of possessing documents that could be useful in preparing an act of terrorism.

Sentencing Paris to two years and nine months, Winchester Crown Court Judge Jane Miller KC said the defendant, who had been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), had been in isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic and had been exposed online. extremist views.

Judge Miller said he had joined a “far-right group that actively promoted violent National Socialist ideology, including political terror, particularly the murder of Jews, but also other non-white groups and politicians”.

She added that he was a member of other Telegram groups “dedicated to promoting neo-Nazi content and sharing content that incites violence.”

Parris, from Bitford, near Plymouth, Devon, also became an administrator of a Telegram channel, which Judge Miller said contained “clearly racist posts, some of which may be seen as direct calls to action”.

She added: “You insulted many sections of society, including Jews, Christians, black people, Africans, Gypsies and East Asians.

“You glorified the Nazis and suggested that all Jews and Gypsies should be exterminated.”

The court heard Paris also posted a photo of himself giving a Nazi salute and posted a “highly offensive video”.
