India vs Bangladesh: Match at a glance:
India defeated Bangladesh 1-0 in their second match of the upcoming Asian Games 2023. The victory helped India regain control of their campaign. Igor Stimac’s team held on to their lead and earned an important victory that keeps them in contention for the knockout stages. The first half went goalless as India wasted numerous opportunities, including a quadruple save by opponent custodian Mitul.

The match appeared to be heading to a goalless draw in the second half after a Samuel Kynshi free kick was deflected off the crossbar. However, in the 85th minute, left winger Bryce Miranda received a long pass on the edge of the opponent box and scored. Bangladesh captain Rahmat Mia fouled the winger, and India was awarded a penalty. As India seized the lead, captain Sunil Chhetri stepped up and placed it into the bottom-left corner.
One of the worst Indian NT games I have watched in a while. Bangladesh did really well and almost went ahead several times. Lots of work to do ahead of Myanmar.
Huge win mentality wise. Will be a great confidence boost for our players after everything went wrong.

Most uninspiring game played by #BlueTigers #stimaq as usual enjoying his holidays on paid salary, team not showing any urgency to make goals highly defensive approach #very is worst n #jhingan passed his prime not able to run properly , its sad situation for #indianfootball
