The streaming giant announced the big news at a PaleyFest evening panel in Los Angeles on Friday, April 19, celebrating the cartoon’s 25th anniversary.
in a recent interview Los Angeles TimesShow creator Seth MacFarlane has shared his vision for the show’s future, revealing he plans to continue it as long as viewers “don’t get tired of it.”
“At this point, I don’t see any reason to stop,” the showrunner explained.
“People still love it. It makes people happy and it helps fund some good causes. You can donate a lot of extra cash to the Rainforest Trust and you can still go out to dinner that night. There was a time when I thought, ‘ It’s time to end it. At this point, we’ve reached escape velocity.”
“I don’t know there’s any reason to stop at this point, unless people are fed up. Unless the numbers show people are just, ‘Eh, we don’t care’ family guy Not anymore. But that hasn’t happened yet,” he concluded.
For those unfamiliar with it, family guy Season 22 recently concluded, with the finale set to air on April 17.
