Emmy-nominated composer Guy Moon is the man behind the music of the iconic Nickelodeon Show like pretty weird parents and Danny Phantomdied at the age of 53.
Moon’s family posted on Facebook that he died in a car crash in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The Los Angeles County medical examiner said he died from “trauma” suffered in the collision. It’s unclear if anyone else was involved in the crash.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved patriarch, Guy Moon. He was killed in a traffic accident Thursday morning,” Moon’s family, which includes his wife and three children, said in a statement.
“We feel so blessed to have called him a father and a husband. As we stand on the ground of seemingly insurmountable grief, we have the courage to mourn him with honor and courage using the tools he equipped us with in a wonderful life.”

“He leaves an unquestionable legacy and will be deeply missed by us, his family and the countless others he impacted,” the statement concluded.
The family said they are planning to celebrate Moon Jae-in’s birthday on February 7.
Moon composes music for Nickelodeon show pretty weird parents, Danny Phantomand johnny test. His work on “The Fairly OddParents” earned him four Emmy Award nominations from 2001 to 2017, and he also composed the music for three “The Fairly OddParents” films. He has also composed music for films including fight club, minority report,as well as Brady Bunch Movies from the 1990s.
Butch Hartman, animator and voice actor, created pretty weird parents, Danny Phantomand tuff puppy, and performed with Moon, paid tribute to the composer on Instagram on Saturday, saying he was “heartbroken.”

“I have not spoken yet because there is not enough information. I will issue a statement soon,” Hartman wrote.

“He was my friend. My brother. My family.”
Fans of Moon’s extensive body of work expressed their condolences on Moon’s final Instagram post, which showed him spending time with a director and producer in New York.
“I hope you know how many of us love every one of your posts,” one Instagram user wrote. “How you brought so much energy and energy to our favorite show. How you helped make Danny Phantom an icon of mine, from the very first line of the show your voice screamed ‘He’s the Phantom!'”
Another added, “RIP. He will live on in spirit with every work he did. He will always be loved and appreciated by those of us who grew up listening to his music. Praying for his family and loved ones.”
