Apple gives US broadcast rights to F1 The five-year deal, which follows the success of F1: The Movie, will help the tech giant strengthen its streaming service with one of the fastest-growing sports in the country.

Both parties did not disclose financial details of the deal on Friday. CNBC reported it was for $140 million per year, much more than the $90 million Walt Disney-owned ESPN is paying each season for F1, which it has broadcast since 2018.

The four-time world champions have temporarily re-emerged as a title contender, having beaten the McLaren pair in each of the last three races and moving to within 63 points of championship leader Piastri with six rounds remaining.
