On racing with Leclerc: “Finally! It took a long time, it was a good fight with Charles, he fought hard.

“We went for a long time, I expected the second attempt to be a little easier but no, it was good fun. I’ll have to make another attempt, there was nothing more we could do today.”

Some unique days in Texas for Verstappen – he won the US Grand Prix and closed the gap to Oscar Piastri in the championship even further!

Lando Norris is in second place and is now only 14 points behind Oscar Piastri! Charles Leclerc finished third, with Lewis Hamilton again missing the podium in fourth.

Second place now looks secure for the McLaren driver.
