Australia Hosted the inaugural race of formula 1 This year there will once again be no new races in the season calendar.

Australia held its first race of the season Sunday 16 March – Two weeks from the 2024 start date.
Following pre-season testing at the same track in Sakhir, Bahrain is scheduled to host the first race of the season since 2021, but it has been moved to April due to Ramadan.
Saudi has also moved to April, with China and Japan moved forward a month in races two and three respectively.
The 24-race season concludes on December 7 in Abu Dhabi. Pre-season testing will take place in Bahrain two weeks before the first race, with three days of racing on 26–28 February.
For the second year in a row, there will be no new races on the programme. However, 2026 is already going to be different with Madrid Confirmed As the new home of the Spanish Grand Prix, meaning 2025 could be the last year Barcelona hosts it f1 Race.
Other calendar changes include a triple-header between Japan-Bahrain-Saudi in April, while Spain has moved forward three weeks to late May/early June.
Belgium and Hungary have also swapped weekends, with Budapest now hosting the final race before the traditional summer break.
There is a four-week gap in autumn this year, but next year there will be no such space in the calendar, with only one week off between Singapore and Austin in October.
