F1 champion McLaren signs global equipment deal with sportswear giant

Sportswear brand Puma will provide team uniforms formula one racing champion McLaren This season is a multi-year global agreement.

The agreement also covers IndyCar, the 2027 World Endurance Series, virtual racing and the all-women’s F1 Academy series.

No financial details were provided. Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, said: “Our sport is in an incredible state and it’s fantastic to see an influx of major fashion and lifestyle brands who are looking for deep and meaningful ways to engage with our growing global fan base.”

McLaren previously had a deal with Castore that some media reports said was worth £30 million ($40.41 million) per year.

Puma also outfits Ferrari and Aston Martin, while Williams has simultaneously turned to American lifestyle brand New Era.

McLaren won the constructors’ title last season, while Lando Norris beat Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri to claim the drivers’ title.

He will begin his title defense in March when the 2026 season begins in Australia.

The first game of the season will be held on March 8.
