Exit polls show Putin will win Russia's presidential election with 87% of the vote

Moscow, Russia:

Russian leader Vladimir Putin is expected to win the presidential election with 87% of the vote, state-run exit polls showed on Sunday, after there were no serious opposition candidates in the previous vote.

A government-run VTsIOM poll showed the 71-year-old Russian leader won the election, which was also held in occupied Ukraine, with voting in Russia’s westernmost Kaliningrad region ending at 1700 GMT.
