Genderbal, July 17, KDC: In a notable demonstration of Swift and professional policing, the Genderbal Police has cracked the case of a heinous crime in which a woman’s attack and murder incident from Kondbal within just 24 hours of the incident. The accused, a relative of the victim has been arrested and is in police custody.
The case initially appeared as a domestic accident when the body of the woman was brought to the District Hospital Genderbal on the evening of July 12. However, suspicious circumstances inspired the Genderbal Police to initiate a detailed inquiry into the case.
A police officer told Srinagar -based news agency Kashmir.com, “From the beginning, we doubted foul play based on discrepancies in the edition given by the family.” “In view of the gravity of the case, a special investigation team (SIT) was formed under the supervision of Owais Loun, Dysp Headquarters Ganderbal, which went with accurate and sensitivity.”
During the investigation, the police found that the deceased along with his minor son, had gone to meet his sister -in -law in Barkati Mohalla in Safapora. The same evening, she was picked up by her sister -in -law’s husband Sajad Ahmed.
Later that night, after the victim complained of toothache, Sajad took her to the local hospital. But instead of post -household treatment, he turned to a separate area, said the official said that when the victim felt the danger and threatened to jump from the motorcycle, Sajad stopped the vehicle and allegedly pushed him to the ground violently, resulting in a significant head injury.
In a deep disturbing turn of the incidents, the police say the accused then did a sexual work on the unconscious woman. When he realized that he was unanswered, he returned him to his home and expressed a false story that he had faced an accident in the washroom.
“The case was successful when investigators found a mark of blood on the road, taking him to a secluded area located several kilometers from the residence of the accused,” the official said.
A senior police officer involved in the investigation told the KDC, “The accused tried to mislead the family and officials by creating the cause of death as a bathroom accident. However, our investigation team scored a goal to highlight the truth.”
The accused has been arrested, and further legal proceedings are going on. The Genderbal Police has confirmed its commitment to justice, especially in cases related to violence against women.
The local community has appreciated the strong action taken by the police. Local people of Kondbal said, “The professionalism of the investigation team and the leadership of SSP Khalil Poswal have been exemplary. This shows that the law will not leave anyone, no matter how clever it is,” Locals of Kondbal said.
The police have appealed to the public to report any suspicious incidents immediately and reiterate that crimes against women would be firmly and sensitively dealt with. (KDC)
