Esha Deol steps out for first time since divorce from Bharat Takhtani, calls ‘Main Theek…’ Watch

Esha Deol makes her first public appearance after announcing her divorce. The actress, who was married to Bharat Takhtani, issued a statement a few weeks ago confirming that the couple had split. Although Elsa has stayed away from social media since then, she made her first public appearance on Monday. Esha was spotted at the Mumbai airport getting ready to board a flight. While traveling, Elsa wears a tank top, pants, and a bucket hat.

Although Esha tries to keep a low profile, she is still seen interacting with the paparazzi. In a video shared by paparazzi, a photographer can be heard asking how she is doing. Esha replied: “Main theek hoon (I’m fine).” She waved to the paparazzi before getting ready to board the plane. Watch the video below:

Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani got married in 2012 but announced their separation earlier this month after 11 years together. The pair released a joint statement revealing they had decided to part ways “mutually and amicably”. “We have mutually decided to part ways amicably. The best interests and well-being of our two children are of the utmost importance to us through this transition in our lives. We hope that our privacy will be respected,” their statement read. The two are parents to daughters Radia and Miraya, aged six and four respectively.

While Dharmendra and Hema Malini are yet to comment on their breakup, sources allegedly told BollywoodLife that Dharmendra is not happy with her decision to separate. “No parent would be happy to see their child’s family break up. Even Dharmendraji was a father and his pain was understandable. It was not that he was against his daughter’s decision to separate but he was asking her to reconsider Let’s take the decision,” Bollywood Life quoted a source as saying.
