Look guys, I’m not here to pick on Erica or poke fun at every little thing.

In fact, I’m trying to ignore as many people as possible.

I get it…she’s probably tired and exhausted and we all make mistakes.

But it’s really something.

It’s one of those things where if you wrote it into a movie script it would probably be rejected for being too obvious.

And yet, as Elon Musk says, “fate loves irony” and the most interesting outcome is usually the most likely.

That’s certainly what got us today.

Grift.

So that was a bad one, but there’s actually another Erica clip that the internet is loving even more today…

At first I didn’t think there was anything worth seeing here, but the more I thought about it it seemed very strange and out of place.

So what everyone is paying attention to is that the word “once” is actually a forward-looking, expected word:

If we’re on a road trip and I say, “Once we get to California, we’ll go straight to the beach” – that means we’re all hoping to get to California sometime in the near future and then we know we’ll go to the beach.

Second: “I’ll take the cookies out of the oven as soon as the timer goes off.” An expected future event.

Now this: “Once Charlie was murdered, it was proven even more so.”

Hmm.

Again, perhaps a bad choice of words, but it raises some eyebrows. And it’s not just me:

Because…everyone grieves differently.

And it’s true, some people lament the constant pursuit of fame and headlines, spending half their time on Fox News and the other half strutting across the stage in a shiny gold dress and fireworks:

And I’m not going to waste my time writing in this article about all my thoughts about Erica Kirk or all the things I find “offensive” and “fake.”

Because a picture is often worth a thousand words and even better than a picture is often a meme and even better than a meme is often a satire or parody.

I don’t know who made it but it is absolutely genius. very well done.

In just 28 seconds, this satirical video tells more truth than a thousand words.

This is the scene from The Truman Show where Truman finally figures it out. Eventually he realizes that his entire life has been fake and pretentious. He eventually learns that his “wife” is only playing a role, and that she is actually more interested in doing product placements and commercials to keep the show going.

This is an iconic scene in cinema history and one of my favorite movies, but someone swapped/merged the original actors’ faces with Erica Kirk and Charlie Kirk and to me it perfectly expresses everything I find “obnoxious” and “fake” about Erica Kirk.

And before we go, since we’re talking about The Truman Show, let’s learn additional details about the movie.

This completely subverts the entire movie, but there’s a theory that says Truman knows he’s in a movie the whole time and it’s not like he figures it out until the end.

He figured it out very early on, and for most of the movie he’s testing other people to see if anyone else knows and where the edges and boundaries of this fake world really are.
