Erica Kirk: “Charlie loved St. Michael and had a deep devotion to him”

Well friends, I’m going to report on it and then let you decide what you think…

But let’s say I have some serious questions.

Erica Kirk was recently on Fox News and the segment is going viral.

She tells how much devotion Charlie had towards…Saint Michael the Archangel.

Yes.

Not Jesus.

Michael the Archangel.

Look here and then we’ll get to it in a minute:

So, when we first started dating, I asked him, my answer was, “Why don’t you wear a cross?”

He said, “You say you’re Christian, but you don’t wear a cross,” and he said, “Eh, I don’t know. I’m not really into jewelry.”

And I was like, “I understand.”

So, for her first birthday gift, I gave her this cross.

And then throughout time, I was always adding different medals to it, and so he always… He loved St. Michael.

And so, yes, every time he wore it, he felt like it was his armor.

It’s really cute.

Okay so now let’s break it down…

You’re certainly free to believe and think whatever you want, but here’s what stood out to me. And don’t call me an Erica Kirk hater, I’m just keeping it real.

First of all, I think it’s very strange and telling that in her story she shows how little she cared about Charlie and his wishes.

She says she asked him why he didn’t wear the cross and he said because he wasn’t going to sell jewelry…and so what does she do? Immediately bought her a cross necklace to wear!

“So, for her first birthday present, I gave her this cross.”

But of course the bigger surprise is his claim that Charlie was obsessed with St. Michael or Michael the Archangel (are they the same person? I think so? I don’t know the Catholic vernacular very well).

Anyway, she claims that Charlie had a deep love for St. Michael and that is why he loved wearing this cross.

Sorry guys, but this is where I have to call BS.

Now look, I don’t know what was on Charlie’s mind or what he said to Erica in private, but I do know that Charlie was a very public person and there are thousands and thousands of hours of him speaking on video.

And there is no known video of him speaking about St. Michael, certainly not of his deep love and admiration for St. Michael.

How will I know?

One, because I’ve watched a lot of Charlie Kirk videos and I’ve never seen this.

But of course I haven’t seen everything on the Internet, so I went to ChatGPT and Grok and asked them both to find any video clips anywhere online of Charlie Kirk speaking about St. Michael.

outcome?

Couldn’t find even one.

Oh, Charlie’s talking a lot about Jesus Christ, but there’s no one praising the angels and saints.

In contrast, this recent clip of Charlie from July 22, 2025 talking about his major issues with Catholicism:

That’s really a masterclass.

So I don’t know the people, I didn’t know about their private conversations and I certainly wasn’t in Charlie’s head to know his private thoughts, but I find the idea that he had a deep reverence for “St. Michael” and that’s why he wore a cross necklace that he didn’t really want to wear in the first place… it’s very hard to believe.

But that’s just me!
