England Opening batsman Ben Duckett is “establishing the facts” after an explicit video went viral on social media.

The ECB’s statement is as follows rob keyThe managing director of men’s cricket confirmed that the players’ trip to Noosa, which has been compared to a “stag do” by some reports, will be investigated.

After humiliation of surrender, Key defends journey between second and third Tests ash In just 11 days of play, the hosts led 3–0 with two Tests remaining, The establishment of a new era and the end of ‘buzzball’.

The video reportedly shows Duckett interacting with a group of people who ask if he knows how to get home. It is unclear when the footage was filmed or who filmed it.

Following reports that the drinking session in Noosa resembled a “stag do”, an ECB spokesperson told Sky Sports News that they are “aware of the material circulating on social media.”

The statement continued: “We have high expectations for behaviour, recognizing that players are often placed under intense scrutiny, with established procedures we follow when their conduct falls short of expectations. We also support players who require support.

“We will not be commenting further at this stage until we have established the facts.”

“For an international cricket team to drink excessive amounts of alcohol is not something I would expect to see at any level and it would be a mistake to ignore what happened there. From what I’ve heard so far, they were actually very well behaved. Very well behaved.

“We have enough ways to find out what actually happened and everything I’ve heard so far is that they sat down, had lunch, ate dinner, didn’t go out until late, all that, had the odd drink. I don’t mind that. If it goes further than that, then as far as I’m concerned, it’s an issue.

“I don’t have a problem with a Noosa trip if it’s going away and just throwing your phone away, putting down the devices, going to the beach, all that stuff. If it goes where they’re drinking a lot and it’s a bucking kind of stuff, that’s completely unacceptable. I’m not a drinker, I think the culture of drinking doesn’t help anyone in any way.”

ben stokesThe team bounced back somewhat after the second Test and gave its best performance after a poor performance in the series, but lost by 82 runs and fell 3–0 in the series.

The fourth Test at Melbourne’s iconic MCG on Boxing Day, which begins on Christmas Day in the UK, gives England a chance to salvage some pride ahead of the final Test in Sydney on January 3.
