Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded his visit to Canada, where he attended the G7 Summit and departed for Croatia. During his visit, PM Modi thanked the people of Canada and the government for hosting a successful G7 Summit and underlined how India is committed to the cause of global peace, prosperity and security.

In a post on X, PM Modi wrote, “A producer concludes the trip to Canada. Thanks to the Canadian people and the government for hosting a successful G7 summit, which saw fruitful discussion on various global issues. We are committed to pursue global peace, prosperity and stability.”

The Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) also highlighted the importance of traveling in a post on X, stating, “PM @narendramodi concluded a very productive journey for Canada!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Pomeroy Kananskis Mountain Lodge in Canada to attend the G7 summit on Tuesday. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney attained PM Modi as he reached the summit site in Kananskis, Alberta.

In a series of high-level meetings held on the edge of the G7 summit in Canada, PM Modi highlighted India’s efforts to strengthen the global partnership and make the cause of the global South champion.

He discussed with European Commission Chairman Ursula von Der Leyen. Antonio Costa, President of European Council.

Construction on these interactions, PM Modi emphasized solidarity with global South after meetings with leaders from Brazil and South Africa.

He described the “excellent conversation” with South African President Cyril Ramfosa and Brazilian President Luiz Inecio Lula Da Silva, addressing important issues for the global South and confirming their shared commitment to work towards a better future for generations to come for generations.
