Emraan Hashmi tells Karan Johar that he’s a good kisser is a ‘rumor’: ‘I’m the best’

After the success of Tiger 3, Emraan Hashmi is back with another gray character – producer of the upcoming web series Showtime. Karan Johar is set to reveal what goes on behind the scenes in Bollywood. Karan joined the cast of the film’s trailer today and asked Emraan some barrage of questions.

Karan asked Emraan what rumor about him he most wanted to stop. To this, Emraan replied, “I am a very good kisser.” He added, “I am not a very good kisser but I am the best.” This left Karan in splits. Mouni Roy and Shriya Saran also joined them on stage.

After a long wait, the makers have finally released the trailer of the show. The trailer of the web series shows an angry Emraan Hashmi trying to save face in front of the new outsider, played by Mahima Makwana. At the same time, Rajeev Khandelwal, who plays a superstar in the play, made him realize that the power of the industry lies in the hands of “stars”.

Mouni Roy plays Emraan’s wife and she is seen in a sexy avatar in the trailer. Naseerudin Shah plays the owner of a film studio. Shriya Saran also stars in a pivotal role.

Created by Sumit Roy and Mihir Desai and directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar, Showtime will delve into the untold world behind the camera. It will give viewers a glimpse into the truth, nepotism and power struggles at the top of Bollywood’s multi-million dollar industry.

The multi-starrer web series Showtime is scheduled to air on March 8.
