Brexit made it difficult to deal with illegal stay in the channel, Emmanuel Macron said that he and Sir Keir Star unveiled the “One in, One Out” Pravasi Return Scheme on Thursday (July 10).
The French President told a joint press conference with the British Prime Minister: “This has actually been since Brexit [that] The UK has no migrant agreement with the European Union.
“It creates an incentive to create a crossing, the exact opposite of the promise of Brexit.”
The pair have agreed to the plan to send back the migrants of small boats, in which a refuge seeker has been sent to the UK in return.
