New Delhi:

Gurgaon police have summoned Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav after he was caught on camera assaulting a YouTuber. Police said they issued a notice to Mr Yadav asking him to attend the Sector 53 police station for interrogation on Tuesday.

A video of Yadav attacking YouTuber Sagar Thakur, known as Maxtern, went viral. Thakur, who was injured in Thursday’s incident, filed a police complaint against Yadav, accusing him of trying to break his spine.

Mr Yadav yesterday defended his actions and said he had been framed. In an Instagram video titled “Plan First and Play the Victim,” he claimed the YouTuber threatened to “burn” him and his parents alive.

The viral video shows Yadav beating up Thakur at a clothing store, which was the fallout of a clash between the two YouTubers on social media.

Thakur, who primarily creates gaming content, claimed that he was distressed by Elvish Yadav’s fan page for “spreading hatred and propaganda” and that Yadav had sent him death threats.

Yadav said in the video that he had invited Thakur to his home on the day of the incident, but he leaked screenshots of their chat to anger Thakur. “Marksten made some remarks about my family and threatened to burn me and my family alive. I abused him for this and told him that I would come to see him wherever he was,” he said.

They eventually met at a clothing store owned by McStern’s friend.

Yadav said he was framed and there were hidden cameras everywhere. He also admitted he threatened to kill Mr Thakur but insisted it was said “in the heat of the moment”. He also defended his actions by saying he was angered by comments directed at his family.

Elvish Yadav is no stranger to controversy. He is already in legal trouble over a snake venom orgy party case. He is accused of being involved in the supply and use of snake venom.
