A section of Alton towers A toilet was evacuated after a fire.
Blaze started at 3 pm in the prohibited valley part of Staffordshire Theme Park, with Staffordshire Fire Service sent two crew into the scene.
As a result, the owners vacated the area on attraction.
A spokesperson of the Alton Towers Resort said: “Before today, a small, vested fire was discovered in the facility of a toilet within the prohibited valley area of the resort.

“Our team quickly set fire, and as a precaution, we temporarily evacuated the region, while we established the reason for it.
“We want to thank our guests for their cooperation. The safety and goodness of our guests and team members is always our top priority.”
The theme park guests said on social media that the fire raised the chaos of traffic as they had run to leave the park.
A staphydordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said the fire was inside an electrical extractor fan.
He said: “We were called today (Monday 11 August) at 3 pm, which was at the Alton Towers Resort in Staffordshire after a small fire report.
“Two crew was sent to the spot. An electrical extractor fan was set on fire by the resort staff before our arrival.
“There was no injury.
“One toilet was damaged and the other was smoked as a result of the fire. The crew ventilated the area and used equipment to prevent the fire spread.”
The firefighters gave up the attraction shortly before 4.30 pm.
