Election Commissioner fined four times conservative agent

Ottawa – The Election Commissioner has imposed a total fine of $ 4,500 against an accountant related to his work as an agent for the Conservative Party.

The Office of the Election Commissioner of Canada says that it doubled or tripled the fine issued to William Hely as he demonstrated intentions or negligence.

In the 2019 elections, two fines as the official agent for the conservative candidate J Shin in Burnbai South are related to Heli’s work.

Heli was fined for failing to pay a claim and failing to provide an updated details of claims, a total of $ 9,080 in relation to 12 unpaid claims.

The commissioner says that Heli has a history of non-transportation for equal violations.

The Canadian Press Conservative has reached the party and the riding associations for comments, but has not heard back.
