Officials said an elderly man was run by a train in Budgam district of Central Kashmir on Monday.
An official told the news agency -Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the incident took place between Mazhoma and Budgam stations.
The person has been identified as Ali Mohad Mir of Mohammad Akbar Mir of Sanur Kalipora.
Officials have taken cognizance of the matter and further investigation is going on- (KNO)
