Eight people have been arrested by the Metropolitan police in connection with an alleged conspiracy to destroy the cameras.
The arrest, including six men and two women, followed a coordinated operation by the force. All eight persons are suspected of conspiracy to cause criminal damage. One of the men has also been accused that a team sent to repair a damaged camera has been included in threatening and harassing.

London was arrested in UXBridge, Iceenham, Northwood, Sutton and Estham.
Those arrested are in custody.
The search is going on at the address, but officials say they have already recovered goods related to the alleged crime.
Superintendent of Met’s roads and transportation policing commands Paul Thomas said: “There is a major difference between legitimate opposition and conspiracy to destroy the property or cause seriously damage.
“Some people may think of such behavior as a aggrieved crime, but when the cameras are damaged or destroyed, it creates dangerous threats, exposure to road collisions in addition to disruption for motorists and inhabitants.
“We take these crimes very seriously and the officials will continue working together Transport to London And other partners to identify and create a case against those responsible.
“Today’s arrest is an important development that is a long and complex investigation that has not ended yet.
“I will appeal to anyone who has information about the plan to target the Ulaz cameras to come forward.”
