Eid al-Aadha hoped in most Islamic countries on 6 June: International Astronomical Center

The International Astronomical Center announced that Crescent Moon marked the onset of Dhu al-Hija 1446Ah, seen in the Islamic world on Tuesday, 27 May.

Engineer Mohammad Shokat Odeh, director of the Abu Dhabi-based center, said that the moon will be possible to see the moon with parts of Central and West Asia as well as most parts of Africa and Europe. Additionally, it can be visible to naked eyes in large areas of America.

Based on these astronomical predictions, Wednesday, May 28 is expected to be the first day of Dhu al-Hija, which is making a possible date for the first day of Eid al-Aadha in most Islamic countries on Friday, June 6. (AI/WAM)
