Statistics Canada is ready to report employment data for June today.
According to LSEG Data and Analytics, a Reuters Pole of economists stopped the hiring speed in June, with no changes in employment.
Economists also hope that the unemployment rate increased by 7.1 percent last month.
Trade-sensitive areas such as construction and transport have faced job loss in recent months as the Canadian tariff dispute with the United States has disrupted the economy.
Last month, US President Donald Trump doubled the tariff on steel and aluminum to 50 percent and indicated this week that he intends to carry matching tariffs on copper imports.
The June Jobs number will be the last look, which the Bank of Canada will get in the labor market on July 30 before its next interest rate decision.
