Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chaudhary conducted a public outreach camp in Bhavani-e-Panchayat, which is located near the Line of Control (LoC) in Novashera sub-division.
The initiative on Wednesday was to be directly attached to the residents of the border areas, including Bhavani, Kalsian and Zhangar, and addressed their pressure concerns.
During the camp, the Deputy Chief Minister listened carefully to the complaints raised by the local people and assured them to redress on time. He emphasized the government’s commitment to ensure peace, security and development in border areas.
Removing any rumors of unrest, Chaudhary said, “There is no need for nervousness. The situation is under control, and people should be calm and alert.”
The outreach event is part of the widespread efforts of administration to maintain transparency and strengthen confidence among people living in the government and sensitive border areas.
On the other hand, the Indian Army has effectively responded to the firing of the Pakistan Army in the Uri and Akhanur regions in the areas of Jammu and Kashmir (JK) along the night of 30 April and 1 May.
According to the Indian Army, Indian soldiers responded rapidly and effectively for firing unprotected small arms by the Pakistan Army.
This is the seventh consecutive day of India’s effective vengeance as the unsafe small arms of Pakistan’s army were shot on the night of 25–26. (AI)
