The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on Monday, November 10, announced that the much-awaited FASTag annual pass is now applicable on all national highways and expressways. It also confirmed that the annual pass facility for FASTag users is also applicable at Bijwasan toll plaza on Dwarka Expressway.
The initiative aims to provide seamless, cashless travel through toll plazas without making daily payments. For continued hassle-free travel, travelers can also avail a monthly pass of ₹340 at designated camps.
“#FASTagbasedAnnualPass is applicable on all National Highways and National Expressways including the #DwarkaExpressway! Apart from the annual pass, commuters can also avail a monthly pass for ₹340 at designated camps set up near toll plazas. This initiative ensures a seamless and efficient toll experience for all expressway users,” NHAI wrote on Twitter.
NHAI started toll collection at Bijwasan toll plaza from Sunday morning. To increase the convenience of local commuters, NHAI announced that three lanes on each side of the highway will be designated for locals for the next three days.
“During this period, locals living within a radius of 20 km are advised to obtain a monthly pass, available for ₹340, or opt for an annual pass for continued hassle-free travel. To facilitate this process, several camps have been set up near the toll plazas to help local users easily register and obtain their passes.”

FASTagOfficial, the official account of FASTag under the (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways) MoRTH, also took to X to explain that the annual pass is applicable on all national highways. It reads, “Activate your annual pass today through the RajmargYatra app and enjoy a toll-free ride.”
About FASTag Annual Pass
Introduced by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, FASTag Annual Pass is a new toll payment option for non-commercial private vehicles such as jeeps, cars and vans. The pass costs Rs. Rs.3,000, offers uninterrupted travel for a year or a total of 200 trips, whichever is earlier. It can be used to pay fee plazas only on National Highways (NH) and National Motorways (NE) and will not be accepted on any state-managed highway.
