West Bengal Police arrested three people allegedly involved in the gang rape of a medical student in Durgapur on Sunday, October 12.
News agency PTI quoted police officials as saying that the identities of the three accused have not been revealed yet and the police are interrogating them.
A police officer said, “We have arrested three people in connection with the case. They are being interrogated. It is a very sensitive case and we will give more details later.”
The medical college student is reportedly from Jaleshwar area of Odisha and was allegedly raped by a group of men on Saturday, October 11.
