Safiq SK, the main accused in the gang rape outside a private medical college campus on Friday night, was arrested on Monday (October 13). “If he is guilty, he should face the consequences. If he is not guilty, he will be released,” Rozina told The Times of India. “The family should not be embarrassed because of him.” Safiq, who works in a rolling mill in the city, has a wife and a minor child. Durgapur: All five accused in the gang rape of a 23-year-old MBBS student in Durgapur are now in police custody.
