DTC to start AC bus service for Baraut of UP on 2 October: Delhi Minister

New Delhi, 19 September (IANS) Delhi Transport Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh said on Friday that Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) will start a new interstate AC bus service, which will add Maharana Pratap IsbT (Kashmiri Gate) to Delhi with Baraut in Uttar Pradesh during the ongoing Civo Pakhwada in October.

He said that during the ongoing Seva Pakhwara 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday was organized, the new bus service would be launched by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, which will improve daily travel options for passengers and students between the two areas.

He said that six daily AC inter-state services will strengthen connectivity in the Delhi-up corridor in cheaper fares.

The new ac bus service will start from maharana pratap isbt in Delhi and touch khajuri khas, bhajan pura, loni bus station/up border, Loni, Mandoll, Khekra, Katha, Baghpat, Gorpur, Gorpur, Gorpur, and Gororpur, and Tyodhi Before Reaching Baraut.

Similarly, Buses Starting from Baraut will pass through Tyodhi, Saroorpur, Goripur, Baghpat, Katha, Khekra, Mandolla, Loni, Loni Bus Station/Up Border, Bhajuri Khajuri Khajuri Khajuri Khajuri Khajuri Khajuri Khajuri Khajuri Khajuri Khajuri Khajuri Khajuri Khajuri Maharana Pratap isbt.

Delhi-Gargut AC services will be operated at 4.50 pm, 5.20 pm and 5.50 am, while Barot-Delhi AC services will run till 7 am, 7.30 am, and 8 pm, which will depart from AC buses with buses, 5 pm, 5 pm, 5 pm, 5 pm, 5 pm and 6 pm, 6 pm, 6 pm and 6 pm, AC buses.

He said that the total route is about 60 km in length, and the Delhi government has ensured that the fare for every section of the passenger is cheap and appropriate. The minimum fare has been fixed at Rs 32, while the maximum fare for the entire stretch between Maharana Pratap ISBT and Baraut is at Rs 125.

Dr. Singh said that more interstate AC bus routes will soon be launched to connect the national capital with nearby areas and states.

He said that these services will focus on promoting religious tourism and increasing cultural connectivity, will be kept appropriate with rent so that the journey is accessible to all sections of the society, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, the Transport Minister said, “This new inter-state AC bus service is not only about improving mobility, it can travel comfortably at cheap prices, supporting communities, supporting livelihood and comfortably at affordable prices. With these new routes, we are paving routes for both economic growth and cultural exchange.”
