The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) ordered a change in school time from 8 am to 2 pm in the summer zone areas of the area effective from May -01 on Monday.
DSEJ said that the change in school time is for all classrooms in Zumar Zone of Jammu Division.
According to the news agency-Kashmir News Observer (KNO), DSEJ said in an order, “All the government as well as private recognized schools will inspect the school time from 8:00 am to 2:00 am with effects from May-05-2025 to September-3025 from May-05-2025 to September-3025 from 8:00 am to 2:00 am.
