The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) announced a summer holiday for all educational institutions in the summer zone areas of the region from June -07 to July -17-2025 on Saturday.
According to the news agency-Kashmir News Observer (KNO), DSEJ said in an order, “All government and recognized private schools falling into the summer areas of Jammu Division inspected the summer vacation from 07-06-2025 to 16-07-2025 for students.
The Directorate, however, said that the teaching staff will report to their respective schools on 14-07-2025 for cleanliness, teaching learning material (TLM) preparation (TLM), lesson, time table planning, preparation of facilities for online classes like ICT Lab.
“All teachers will be available for any on-line guidance of students during the holiday period,” it reads.
DSEJ further stated that if any default on the head of the school or in adherence to instructions, the teaching staff would attract action under the rules.
