Drug pedalr arrested with a contrast in Kupwara

Drug threats from the society, the police have arrested a drug pedal in Kupwara and recovered the control material from his possession.

A spokesperson said that the police station Trehangam’s police party stopped a suspect who tried to escape from the spot at a checkpoint installed near Shummag, but was cleverly caught. During the search, sufficient amount of charas-like substance was recovered from his possession. He has been identified as Faisal Ahmed Pare, son of Trehgam, resident of Wali Mohammad Parre, Kupwara.

In this regard, a case of FIR number 24/2025 has been registered on 24/2025 under the relevant sections of the law at Police Station Trehangam and further investigation has been done to detect the source and network behind the illegal material.
