Dr. Rashmi Singh, IAS (Agmut: 2007), a reputed officer of the Indian Administrative Service, after an impressive three -year tenure in the center area of ​​J&K, is now infection in the Delhi section of Agmut Cadre to take new responsibilities.

Dr. Rashmi Singh joined the J&K administration in May 2022 and played the role of Commissioner, State Taxes, J&K on 31 May 2022. During his tenure in J&K, he contributed to the administrative and developmental scenario of the region in a selfless manner. In June 2023, he was assigned additional charge of the Administrative Secretary, Mining Department, which showcase his ability to handle versatile with efficiency.

In January 2024, Dr. Singh was shifted to the post of Commissioner/Secretary, Hospitality and Protocol Department, while the Chief Resident Commissioner, J&K Sarkar, was also worked as New Delhi. In October 2024, he was given more assigned to him, showing his versatility and commitment to public service, with the Additional Charge of the Administrative Secretary, Higher Education Department.

During his tenure in Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Singh contributed significantly to tax administration, mining governance and hospitality and protocol management. He had an important role in promoting the cultural and economic capacity of Jammu and Kashmir, especially through initiatives like the Pambuable Festival 2.0. This vibrant platform demonstrated the art, craft and food of the region, which promotes dialogue on permanent tourism, e-commerce, youth employment and national education policy. In these areas supported by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Dr. Singh’s efforts helped in the position of J&K as a center for cultural exchange and economic development.

Before his Jammu and Kashmir Assignment, Dr. Singh served as Executive Director, National Mission for Empowerment for Women, Women and Child Development, Government of India, and organized additional charge of Special Secretary and Director, Social Welfare, Government of Delhi. His broad experience in diverse fields has earned him a reputation as a dynamic and dedicated administrator.
